While this could be seen as a later stage of the project, promoting an understanding of the most appropriate pathways to care will be critical to successful implementation of the whole project. Community consultation should aim to identify the causes of current low levels of NHS 24 usage in the area and how this can be improved. Access to services by tourist visitors should also be reviewed as part of this process.
